If conferencing can only be accomplished by connecting the TV to an external device running the meeting app, will the external device meeting app be able to use both the TV display for output and the USB camera connected to the TV as an input source? Or would the webcam have to be connected to the external device (computer, tablet, phone) running the meeting app versus the TV (diminishes the utility of the TV).

Can you connect a webcam and conference on this TV? If so, can it be done through an app on the TV or only by being connected to an external device (computer, tablet, phone) that is running the meeting app?.

There are a lot of conflicting discussions on the internet in this regard. We would like to hookup a Logitech webcam to one of the USB ports for conferencing.

The Samsung TV has two USB ports in the connect box and one USB port on the rear of the TV.
